The Investment Manager, Chelverton Asset Management Limited (“Chelverton”), integrates consideration of material ESG issues into the investment process at the qualitative screening stage. Once a company enters the portfolio, Chelverton will engage with the management team to understand ESG management priorities, request transparency in relation to ESG metrics and targets, and offer support in the development of ESG management capabilities where appropriate. Chelverton is a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI). It has also been accepted by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) as a signatory to the UK Stewardship Code 2020. The fund does not target explicit sustainability outcomes or objectives. Active engagement and voting form a central part of the investment approach. Our fund managers are ultimately responsible for ESG and responsible investing, and are supported by our Responsible Investment Partner, Canbury, and our in-house Governance Team, who offer ESG research insights and engagement and voting support where appropriate
